- Pray, pray, and pray! Instead of looking inward, I chose to look up and be open to what God is saying. I spent more time getting know my God, getting involved in the ministry, being with family and friends, and holding on to God’s promises. It also helped to see my own sinfulness and God’s forgiveness. Instead of wallowing in the pain, I chose to forgive just like how I was forgiven.

2. Who was the last person you visited in the hospital?

- I do not remember :o And that should be good ’cause it means people are healthy, right? :) But we were supposed to visit Baby Sam (Ruby and Denden’s) early this month :(

3. How many jobs have you held in your life? How many of those were part of your chosen career field?

- Real, official job: 1. It is in the career field that I brought myself to be in. I guess it is expected of you to be in the IT world if you’re a Computer Science graduate :p I hope to be in a Marketing/PR/Advertising/Event Management career someday though—when things get a little stable.

4. How did you discover Saturday 9?

- The Daily Meme!! :)

5. If you could take the train from anywhere to anywhere, where would ‘anywhere’ be?

- First anywhere = Marikina, my current location. Second anywhere = London or California.

6. When was the first time you cooked for someone else?

Wahahahaha! I remember cooking corned beef for my sisters when Mamita was away for a convention in Bukidnon. I think I was 12/13 at that time. And I think the food got burnt. And yes, I’d like to think that I can whip up a tastier dish now :)

7. What is the worst beverage you’ve ever tasted?

It’s just the worst tasting for my personal tastebuds but I don’t really like Healthy Kitchen’s minty iced tea. I’m not a fan of toothpaste-y food and drinks—mint chocolate ice cream included.

8. Is there anything in life you are “certain” about? Firm in your beliefs? Strong in your convictions?

I am certain about my faith. I am certain that Jesus is my personal Lord and Savior. I am certain that He died on the cross for my sins.

9. Do you know anyone who has as very unusual pet?

I don’t know anyone but wow, thanks to this post, I have learned that I can have a pet giraffe and a pet hippo. That definitely would be a conversation starter.

My daughter loves watching The Suite Life of Zach and Cody. Which, of course, makes me wonder how I’d spend my time if I lived in a hotel. I’d probably ride the elevators all day long. How would you spend your time?

I would spend my time SLEEPING and staying all throughout the BUFFET BREAKFAST. And fine, maybe swimming in the pool and going to the gym every once in a while. Haha!

Do you wear anything on your wrist? A watch? A bangle? A bracelet? Nothing at all?

I used to wear three baller IDs:

• One that says “Let Go. Let God.”
• One that says “Saved.”
• And one that says “I <3 Boracay”

The first one was accidentally cut and turned into a rubber strap though. So, now I only have two which I never take off as they remind me of (1) my awesome 3 days in Boracay with awesome friends, and (2) being saved by faith in God’s grace.

Have you ever been to the Louvre? Did you see the Mona Lisa?

Yes, I have been to the Louvre. During my JTA stint, we took the opportunity to visit the place for free—yes, it’s free for people under 26 every Friday night.

And I was sort of disappointed with the size of the Mona Lisa. Hahaha! Nonetheless, I am glad that I can say that no matter what painting I see in the future, I’ve already seen the ultimate of paintings (just like how David is the ultimate of sculptures).

- I think I live where I grew up :) We moved to a house across the street when I got into grade school, but the building that used to stand in this lot was where I spent my preschool days. Why? It’s because I live in the parsonage and unless the church gets moved to a place far away from here, I’ll be living in the same area.

2. Have you ever been so angry that you almost lost control?
- I used to be easily angered. I thank God for fixing that. My struggle now though is more about being easily hurt/being sensitive.

3. Are you a fan of a musical act that slightly embarrasses you?
- Well, I like Jesse Mccartney, A1, and The Backstreet Boys. Not that I’m ashamed of that fact. It’s just seems to me that more people would rather not like them.

4. Is there a movie that always makes you cry?
- Huhuhu My Best Friend’s Wedding. And of course, The Passion of the Christ.

5. Who is the most famous person that you’ve met?
- Maybe the Callalily boys a.k.a. my ex-gymmates! Hahaha!

6. Before you leave your home, what must you have?
- A pair of earrings. And my phone—in case I get lost.

7. What do you miss the most about being a kid?
- Having ALL the time in the world to sleep. And not having to worry about things other than school work.

8. Tell us about a passion of yours that your readers would not expect.
- Reading books—’cause I was told that I don’t look “smart”. I make sure to read a chapter of a book or two everyday. Though I think I’ve been telling everyone about that in my previous blog posts.

9. At what age do you think you’d be to think, “I’ve had a great run”?
- I hope to be able to say that everyday ’cause we always have to live like it’s our last day :)

1. I used to enjoy drinking milk tea but now I don’t really anymore except for when I crave for it during ODD moments of the day e.g. NOW.

2. My first job was as a Level 3 resource, doing Java development. I never imagined I would do that—not that I find it a horrible job, it was just not right for me—but thank God for His grace, it only lasted for ~3 months :)

3. I am a bit obsessed with blogging at the moment. Didn’t you notice that I’ve been blogging everyday since January 1? ;)

4. If I don’t have my multiple pillows at night, I don’t sleep well. I have recently developed a sleeping habit requiring me to have pillows surrounding my whole body, and a blankie to cover me up regardless if it’s hot or cold.
