Loose Leaf

Loose Leaf is a project to track my book-reading progress!

I used to read a lot, buy books a lot and get hand-me-down books a lot from my nerdier older cousin. Things changed, however, when I got introduced to the computer. As I grew up, the desire to read came back but having to pay for my own books discouraged me from reading. I won’t pretend that reading is my first love (’cause food and music are tied for that spot) but I definitely enjoy getting an intellectual or emotional high after finishing a book. I got my hands on quite a number of eBooks but clicking next or the Page Down button doesn’t compare to physically turning a page.

I need some help though, as I have said earlier that this might be costly. I don’t want to resort to eBooks either ’cause it defeats the purpose. Thus, I’m looking for people who can sponsor a book for a month! You can either {1} buy me a book (hihihihi!), {2} give me a book that you own, or {3} lend me your book. Yes, you have the power to choose which book I should read. Just please refrain from making me read sci-fi. Huhu.
