If you could live a nomadic life, would you? Where would you go? How would you decide? What would life be like without a “home base”?
What a timely question. I have been reading a lot about living a nomadic life lately — especially with all the blog posts by privileged millenials. (Hehehehe. Please feel the bitterness right thuurrrr.) Quick answer is YES, OF COURSE. I have very itchy feet, and have been enjoying travelling — locally since I was a kid, and internationally since I went on my exchange student trip in France.
I’d probably decide on where to go based on the list of countries that I have in my DREAM BOARD (yes, I have one). If you’re too lazy to click on that, here are the places that I wish to visit:
- San Francisco
- Los Angeles
- Palo Alto
- New York
- Costa Rica
I’m being realistic, though. Life without a home base would probably be fun with all the travels, the new people to meet, the experiences, etcetera–but eventually (or at random points in time), I’m sure it will be sad. I’m sure there will be homesickness.
Okay, let’s change my answer to MAYBE.
